I'm sure that if you're reading this, you know the '80% is good enough' rule, yet you probably wrestle endlessly with actually living that rule in practice. In coaching it can be really challenging to work with people for whom perfectionism and the anxiety and depression that can go with it is almost like a disability.

But, having wrestled with this myself, I know you can get over it. And it's well worth the effort. In improved sleep if nothing else.

What works? Well, looking at others like specimens in a lab and noting what they get away with. Working out what will be really appreciated by the organisation while sacrificing perfection in less vital tasks. Talking about your successes not your weak spots.
